Are you a team player?

When it comes to business, there are many definitions of being a team player.

You may be a team player if you:

  • Enthusiastically participate in company events
  • Are the first one to comment on weekly calls
  • Are able to quickly diagnose problems of others
  • Offer encouragement to teammates on strategic wins

You ARE a team player if you:

  • Assist a colleague when no one else is listening
  • Help a teammate set up a reference visit, review a proposal or presentation on your own time
  • Offer introductions or insight into a teammates target account during a private discussion
  • What other traits automatically make you a team player?

Great Team Players assist other teammates while the coach is not looking.  Team success is a huge part of individual success.  Use your common sense to benefit others, they will return the favor.
